Your first week as a platform owner

You do not need everything perfect before inviting your first client. This order works well:

1. Brand the platform. Upload your logo, set your colours and pick a navigation style under Settings, then check the login page and dashboard carry your identity. See Branding your platform.

2. Connect your domain. Point your app domain, for example app.yourbrand.com, at the platform so clients sign in under your name. See Connect your domain.

3. Connect payouts. If you will charge clients for access, connect your Stripe account so their subscription money lands with you directly. See Getting paid by your clients.

4. Create your plans. Build at least one subscription plan, even a simple one. You can add trials, free tiers and limits later. See Client plans, trials and limits.

5. Invite a first client. Use a signup link for a real student, or create a test client yourself and click through their workspace: create a product, publish a page, send yourself a campaign.

6. Adjust wording if you want. Every label your clients see can be renamed under Settings, and the client area ships in nine languages. See Wording and languages.

A useful habit for week one: log in as a client would, not just as the owner. The product you are selling is the client workspace, so know it the way your students will.
