Client plans, trials and limits
You decide what access to your platform costs. Plans live in your owner dashboard under Subscription plans.
Creating a plan. Give it a name, a price and a billing interval, monthly or yearly, in your currency. A plan can also be free, which is a clean way to run a lightweight tier for alumni or a taster tier for prospects.
Trials. Each paid plan can carry a trial period. You choose per plan whether a card is required up front. Card-up-front trials convert automatically when the trial ends. No-card trials simply end unless the client subscribes.
Limits. Plans can cap the number of contacts a client can hold, the emails they can send per month, the domains they can connect and their file storage. Clients see their usage on their billing page, get warned as they approach a cap and are stopped politely at it.
Feature toggles. Twelve switches control which parts of the workspace a plan includes, for example communities, website templates, ebooks, A/B testing or heatmaps. Features a plan does not include disappear from that client's navigation entirely.
Editing and grandfathering. Editing a plan changes it for new subscribers. Archiving a plan hides it from new signups while existing subscribers keep their terms. Plans are never hard-deleted out from under a paying client.
Manual assignment. From a client's profile you can assign or remove a plan by hand, which overrides billing until you remove the override. Useful for scholarships and comps.
If you have no plans at all, nothing is gated: every client has full access. Gating begins only when you adopt plans.
