Managing orders
Every purchase made through your sales pages lands on the Orders screen.
Where to find it. Open Sales, then Orders.
The revenue strip
Two figures sit at the top: Lifetime revenue and Last 30 days. Both count the money that actually moved, grouped by currency, and both ignore the filters below them. Refunded money is not included.
Filtering
- The search box matches on buyer email.
- Filter narrows by status.
- The product picker narrows to a single product, or leave it on All products.
Orders are listed newest first, 25 to a page.
The columns
- Buyer, the name or email, with the product underneath.
- Amount, the charge. Subscription starts are marked, and if a coupon was used the discount shows in green.
- Provider, Stripe or PayPal.
- Status, one of the five below.
- Access, a tick when access was granted.
- Date.
What each status means
- Paid, the money arrived and access was granted.
- Pending, checkout started but payment has not completed.
- Refunded, the money was returned. Access is revoked and the amount drops out of your revenue.
- Failed, the charge did not go through.
- Canceled, a subscription that has ended. The payments already collected were kept, so these orders still count towards revenue.
Refunds are not issued from this screen. Issue them in your Stripe or PayPal dashboard and the order updates here automatically.
Order details
Click any row to open the details panel. It shows the order reference, product, price, discount, amount collected, subscription details, the customer with a link to their contact record, the provider, the placed, paid and refunded dates, whether access was granted, and any answers to your custom checkout fields.
If an invoice exists for that order, you get a View invoice PDF link. If not, and money was actually collected, you get a Create invoice button. Creating one twice is safe, you always get the same invoice back. You need your company details filled in first, see Invoices and tax.
