Setting up your checkout page

Updated August 17, 2026

Your checkout page is a saved, reusable design in your brand colours. You can keep several and pin a different one to each product.

Where to find it. Open Sales, then Checkout.

Creating a design

Click New checkout page and pick one of three designs:

  • Classic, a focused card, front and centre.
  • Modern, a two-column split with a bold colour hero.
  • Minimal, quiet and airy, just the essentials.

Give it a name, or leave the name blank and it becomes something like Modern cart. Names have to be unique.

The editor

Opening a design gives you a settings column on the left and a live preview on the right. You can flip the preview between desktop, tablet and mobile, or click Open full preview for the real buyer page.

Colors. Set Accent, Background, Card and Text. Your saved brand colours appear as chips. Anything you leave matching your brand keeps following your brand settings, so changing your brand colour later updates the checkout too. Reset to brand colors puts everything back.

Checkout fields. Turn on Ask for full name and Ask for phone number. Email is always required, since that is where access is delivered.

Custom fields. Add up to 8 extra fields for things like an address, company name or VAT number. Each one has a label, a type (text, long text, email, phone or number), an optional placeholder, and a required toggle. Answers are stored on the order and shown in the order details.

Field labels. Rewrite the wording of the name, email and phone labels in your own voice.

Pay buttons. Replace the default Pay with card and Pay with PayPal button text, up to 40 characters each.

Click Save checkout page when you are done.

Using a design

Exactly one design is your Default, and every product without a pinned design uses it. Use the row menu to Set as default, Duplicate or Delete. Deleting a design releases any products pinned to it back to the default.

To pin one, open a product, go to the Pricing tab and choose it under Checkout cart.

A discount code box appears on the checkout automatically once you have active codes. See Coupons and discounts.
