Community spaces

Communities live under Contacts → Communities. A community bundles content and people. Place products inside it, grant the whole community to a member, and they get everything in it plus the feed.

Create one. Click New community, give it a name and an optional description, and save. You land on the community page, which has tabs for Content & members, Community, Events & challenges, and Feed once posts exist. A Preview button opens the member view.

Content & members does two jobs. The top half lists your products with checkboxes, a search box and type filters. Tick what belongs in this community and click Save. The bottom half is the member list: grant the whole community by email, set each person's role to Member or Moderator, and revoke access with the button on the row.

The Community tab holds the switches.

• Community features turn Posting, Comments, Leaderboard, Events and Member directory on or off for this community. Use them to give a premium community more than a basic one.
• Community guidelines is a note shown to members at the top of the feed. Leave it blank to hide it.
• Channels split the feed into named sections. Each channel has a type (Feed, Events, Challenge or Custom page) and a posting permission of Everyone or Moderators only. Deleting a channel keeps its posts and moves them to another channel.

Events and challenges are added on their own tab, with a title, date and time, and description. Challenges can carry day-by-day tasks.

Moderation happens on the Feed tab. Each post has Pin and Unpin to keep an announcement at the top, plus a delete button. Comments can be deleted individually. Moderators you appointed can pin and remove posts and comments from inside the community itself, so you do not have to do it all yourself.

Deleting a community removes community access for its members. The products placed inside it survive and keep any direct grants.
